RUNG R010 — SERVICES INCOMER
Engineering Services Built to Commission Cleanly
JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. delivers six connected service lines from its Kim Hoe Point workshop on Kelantan Lane in Singapore. Each one is documented, tested and handed over with the drawings a maintenance team needs. Call +17758545673 to discuss which rungs your plant needs.
Industrial Systems Integration
Our integration practice joins PLCs, variable speed drives, instrumentation, safety relays, motor control centres and operator interfaces into a single control philosophy. We start by mapping every signal from the field device to the operator screen, then we build and bench-test the panels at the Kim Hoe Point workshop before they travel to site.
Integration covers electrical schematics, terminal schedules, I/O allocation, panel layout and the wiring discipline that keeps a cabinet maintainable. We also produce the interlock matrix and functional design specification that make the behaviour of the plant explicit rather than assumed. Because the same engineers design, build and commission the system, the gap where integration errors usually hide is closed before startup.
Automation Software Engineering
Our software team writes structured control code for PLC, DCS and supervisory platforms, always with the next maintainer in mind. We favour readable function blocks, consistent naming, clear alarm text and sequenced startup and shutdown logic over clever shortcuts that nobody can safely edit later. State machines and interlocks are documented so that changes are an edit rather than an investigation.
Every software release is simulated, version-tagged and archived for the operational life of the asset. We provide a software design specification, an alarm schedule and a backup procedure, and we train your personnel to restore a known-good configuration. This disciplined approach reduces the risk that a small change causes an unexpected production stop.
SCADA and Control Network Design
We design the supervisory layer and the industrial network beneath it as one system. Topology, switch selection, VLAN segmentation, redundancy and time synchronisation are chosen for the plant footprint and the recovery time it can truly tolerate. Managed switches, ring protection and clear addressing plans are documented down to the patch panel so that faults can be traced quickly.
Operator screens are laid out around the decisions a shift team actually makes, with alarm rationalisation that reduces noise instead of adding to it. Historical trending, reporting and alarm logging are configured to support both daily operation and later root cause analysis. The delivered network and SCADA design includes as-built diagrams, tag lists and a maintenance guide.
Edge Computing and IoT Deployment
We deploy ruggedised edge nodes that collect, buffer and forward production data without depending on a fragile internet link. Gateways are configured for store-and-forward operation, local dashboards and controlled upstream publishing, so a cloud outage never removes local visibility of the process.
Device identity, certificates, update paths and data schemas are planned from the first node rather than bolted on later. We help clients decide what data is worth collecting, where it should be processed and what should be retained, so that edge deployments deliver trustworthy information at the point where decisions are made. The result is a data platform that grows with the plant.
Operational Technology Security Assessment
Operational technology fails differently from office information technology, so we assess it differently. Our reviews examine network segmentation, remote access, removable media handling, account hygiene, backup and recovery posture across the control environment. We interview the people who operate the plant as well as reading the configuration.
Findings are ranked by operational consequence and paired with practical remediation that can be scheduled during a shutdown window. We never run disruptive scans against a live process without a written window and a tested rollback plan. The output is a clear report your engineering and management teams can act on together.
Managed Technical Support
After handover, JHR (S) ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. stays reachable through a managed support agreement covering response targets, spares guidance and planned health checks. Our team keeps the asset register and drawing set current so that a call at an awkward hour begins with knowledge rather than guesswork.
Support visits include operator refreshers, a review of recurring alarms and a short written report with recommended next actions. We track the history of each system so that patterns become visible over time. The relationship is designed to outlast the warranty period and to keep the plant dependable through changes in staff and production.
